Hi,
I too bought a 2018 R1 and like most comments I use the clutch for 1st to 2nd. Have tried it using QS but I find it can be jerky at slow speed.

I too sold a BMW S1000rr and bought a 2018 R1
this year (not an M just a std. 2018 R1). Anyway love the Yam to bits and don’t miss the BM,

Hi Napa,
I bought my 1st R1 this year. It’s a 2018 model and I love it. Got character, is deceptively quick and I love the looks. I haven’t regretted it one bit.
