i have used castrol gtx ( which exceeds the requirenents ) in my 5vy since new .. has done 30k miles + and no issues what so ever..

remove the screen and you will find the wiring harness & bracket .. check for damage to wires off the bracket... insulate with lots of tape.

think best way is fit the filter that the manufacturer produces, i.e kwak, kwak filter yam yam filter etc Yamaha, kawaski or honda don`t make filters…login to view the rest of this post
