Very nice banger that.

I think a few of us have had time off due to one thing and another - money, family. You will get back into it quicker than you think. A track day would be a great idea and a place you can really learn the bike.

Stay safe and take you time, that is one fast bike

Not to worry.
I got my 2013 5 yrs ago. Road bike before that was an X7 in mid 80s! :? Picked it up the day I passed my test, road it 420 Miles from Durham to Winchester. Got home 5 am and laughed my tits off most the way but couldn’t move the next day!! :D

What’s been done? You might want to sort the crap clutch out, decat and a decent flash if not done already. That will help you gel no end.

They are great bikes, definitely worth flashing if she’s not been done.

Distance is no problem for these, I took mine down to the alps.

Roy is awesome only man i trust. He will guide you but a flash is next level over the older power commanders. Things have moved on while you were away.

Have a look in the Velox section most your answers will be in there or you can message Mike he's always happy to chat .
The 14b's don't make a lot of power on the chart when they're mapped but it makes a big difference to the way the bike rides , engine breaking can be altered , makes the throttle less snatchy and then theres other jiggery-poker !
