Hello Everyone,
I'm new, about to get back into biking, the last R1 I had was a 2003 model back around 2005.
Looking to purchase a low miles 2017 R1 very soon.
I'm also looking to purchase a few bits a and pieces for sale on here, but can't reply until 20 posts, so here is number one

Welcome to the forum Phil, you will love the new R1, they are a beautiful bike to ride, the chassis and agility of a 600 and the amazing power from the litre engine.... the package for me is perfect... the best bike I have ever owned..... is there a downside.... sadly yes .... the sound is no where as good as the bangers I have had.... but other than that she is in my eyes petfect
Welcome and enjoy your new toy .... oh and get posting so you can buy the bits n bobs you are after
Welcome
Stephen

First bike was a Z400F, then a ZXR750L1, then had two 2003 R1's one when I was based in Malaysia, and then bought another when I came back to the UKjompy wrote:Welcome in Phill

The fucking plumber that should have been on site at the end of last week and then said he'd be on site Monday still hasn't fucking turned up !PhillW wrote:Just the usual grind at workjompy wrote:So what you been up to today Phill ?
How about you?
The fucking sparkie doesn't want to chase his wires into the wall so we're having to leave a 15mm gap behind the fitting and dabbing which is a pain in the arse .
My brother who's still learning the job ( and to be fair he's doing ok ) is struggling to remember simple instructions .
The cad manager and owner of our company want us to work to a strict program of work which doesn't work because the plumbers holding us up , the air conn guys haven't finished in the walls and when the steel work was erected it wasn't painted with fireproof paint before the cladding was fitted which has caused all sorts of problems
Bet you wish you hadn't of asked how
