Hi lads,
Im new to the page, i have a 2015 R1 which i purchased back in 2016, its my first R1, im just wondering if
Thers any problems that i should look out for and any aftermarket mods that you could recommend.

Hi cully and welcome if you post your question in your specific model you may get more answers. But most of the guys here are great to newboys - i should know not been here long myself.

If you browse your model section you will also pick up loads of tips on mods and maintenance for your specific model.

Yamah R6 - 2007, just right as it is (SC can makes a nice noise)
KTM 1190 - All the extras, full bashplate and bars, Akro, and the wife likes it too...

Thanks Lads,
I’m Riding bikes since I could walk I’ve had a few litre sports bikes, fireblades, 1098s, s1000rrs, busas etc
The last Yamaha I had was an lc125 😂😂 so it’s been a few years. I have to admit it’s one of the most enjoyable bikes I’ve had in a while, it makes me smile every time I ride it & as far as looks go it’s definitely the nicest looking sports bike around.
I haven’t really done anything to it, the last owner put an ackrapovic end can, tailtidy, rad guards and a double bubble screen and I have done nothing else only ride it.
