Newbie from NW Kent
Hi Guys,
I've been directed here by another member
Been stuck in the world of Aprilia's since 2008 and still will be as I have a couple of bikes in bits to rebuild and one complete.
I'll be looking at buying a big bang in the spring as I fancy a change and always liked the looks and sounds of these and they are relatively a big bike to suit me at 6'2"
looking forward to picking your brains to what mods work best and if there's any issues I should look out for.

Re: Newbie from NW Kent
thanks guys
in what way is the clutch rubbish Horus????
and I have just answered that by looking up the graves kit
"Graves Motorsports R1 Clutch Kit
Graves Motorsports WORKS R1 Clutch Kit is designed to get rid of the clutches grabbing or "lurching" tendencies on the 09-14 Yamaha R1."

Didn't stop mine leaping across junctions like it didn't have one.
But yep. Nice decat n flash, drop the gearing (no one needs a 1st gear like that) and jack it's rear up a bit too. Lovely.

Cool that’s the way throw a blanket over it and cross your fingers. Didn’t stop mine finding the 4xv still in the shed six months after I’d sold it though!!! Almost lost the Crown Jewels that nightHorus-222_R1 wrote: ↑Tue Dec 04, 2018 6:31 pm

Is that "Redratabike" from the old Aprilia forum where I was "Streetbike" with a Tuono Factory? In any event welcome onto this forum.

Re: Newbie from NW Kent
That's great to hear there was quite a large Falco contingent -all very originally different. We probably met up one time or another at one of Freestyler & Shiny Beast's camping weekends. Great memories and great forum, especially with Griff's mechanical inputs. Perhaps we'll meet up on this one.Redratbike wrote: ↑Tue Dec 11, 2018 8:45 pmYes that’s me ... still got a falco or 2 and a mille in pieces

Re: Newbie from NW Kent
Just found a couple of youtube videos (naomi20yellow) of the Aprilia meetings at Shillington 2009 and 2010.
Enjoy the memories, both are good.
