2004-2006 r1 crank to cam timing.
Hello, just joined the forum, can anyone tell me the sync between crank and cam regarding sensor pick up positions at setup. I.e wnen at tdc where is the exhaust cam id slot in relation to crank pickup. Thanks in anticipation.

Thanks for that, i have a manual download, problem is i dont have engine, i want to use electrics/management system on a project. I need to see where crank sensor pick up is in relation to cam/ cyl identification pick up slot on exhaust cam. If crank timing mark is on tdc on no 1 (i dont know of its so) cylinder where is cam slot. Ideally looking for someone working on engine . Thanks again.

Hmmm you might be on the wrong forum for that mate. This forum is generally about what temperature brake pads get up to or multiple threads on an oil leak or, reading about how someone gets their bikes out then washed it before he put it back,
Great bunch of guys though

You could try the Yank forum, R1-forum.com. There is a ton of information there if you're good at searching.Edbored wrote:I guess youre right, thought it would be worth a try! Cheers.
