Hi.
Does anyone know where to buy the paint or the colour codes for the silver wheels on a 98 R1 4XV?

Try these people, they are not cheap but you do get the correct colour.

Hi all

I to am trying to source the colour. I have found it’s a colorite paint from America ref 0791 but no powder coaters I have spoken can cross reference it to a bs or ral colour

Need some help please

I need the the paint colour reference for a 98 rxv silver wheels I have found the code from America but no Uk ral or bs can be cross referenced.

I think you might struggle to get the exact match Yamaha wont keep the paint code for wheels just the main parts or colours.

I would go to a paint shop and take a wheel and the will have paint swatches to match the wheel against.

Might be worth contacting Dream Machine , they did some work on one of my bikes, they are not cheap but the colour match was perfect. I don’t know if they do touch up paints, but it’s worth asking..,

I think I have sorted it

I have bought a touch up stick for a fazer where the colour is called silver tech but has the identical code following it 0791 s3

I have also found the image of the grey silver on the web so will print a digital copy too. If the two look very close allowing for distortion in printing it must be the right one the powder coaters then can do a match
