Welcome to the forum Kyle, beautiful R1 you have there. As Mark said tell us about your biking history, we love to get to know new peeps on here and we are a nosey bunch of guys n gals .... a month or so ago, I dared ask this question on the US forum only to brass a few people off.... they just didn’t understand how we work over here...

Anyway, welcome to the mad house, join in the banter, have a giggle with us and ask any questions you wish, someone on here will have the answer, done that, got the tee shirt... etc... you get the drift

Welcome

Stephen

Thanks lads . I've been a Suzuki man for most my bike life had a few Yamaha moto X but last sports bike tht I actually still have is a gsxr . The R1 came up for a good price and tbh just look at them they are a real thing off beauty I couldn't say no it's had so much work and money spent on it and boy for a carb model these things are soooo smooth and responsive .. so far very happy R1 owner

Metzeler M7RR. Great tyres for road riding and I understand they are good for track days.

There's another thread with a link to a place selling them for £200 a set.

MYTYRES.co.uk currently selling them cheap I’m so impressed how Horus and Pedro’s lasted at cadwell last year I’ve got some for road and early trackdays. Mine arrived in 4 days.

Happy days they are the tyres that are fitted so looks like I'll order a set off those 👌👍

Actually I love Michelin tyres, the power cups, do they still make hem, are so so sticky on dry roads and actually, very good on wet roads... despite their sea to land ratio ...

Had a price off a garage just down the road from me for 200£ fitted Michelin pilots 3 tht seems fairly good thoughts on these ? My mate with a Gixxer swears by diablos but they seem to take a real battering on the track ... They coming in at just over 200£ fitted
