Hi everyone I'm Phil and new to this site. I bought a 2001 R1 last year and am doing a few jobs to it for the year ahead. Fork bushes done, brake calipers serviced, new tyres and chain sprockets. Looking forward to a decent spin on it soon

Hi Phil and welcome to the forum

Its a bit quiet this time of year on here.

Tell us a bit more about yourself, is this your first R1, what other bikes have you owned or own?

Hi Phil and welcome to our biking community. The guys n gals on here are very knowledgeable, so any questions, just ask, someone will have the answer.

Any chance of a pic of your bike? It helps those of us who can’t read

Oh and join in the banter too
