Hello

Post by Maxthelion »

Hello to you all, been away from R1’s for a while ... I was kidnapped and went over to the GSXR side for a while . But have now made a full recovery and now have acquired a 98 R1 streetfighter that was in need of a full rebuild and lots of tlc. Full of race parts , ohlins, ap racing, 41mm flatslides etc, and a fully tuned Tiny Scott motor .
Here is a pic of it at present , the paint is only rough Primer as trying the colour scheme before I commit to gloss.

Just when you think you've seen it all.... I'd suggest some foam around the back of the tank the first time you ride it!

Should be a fun project.

It originally had an MV Augusta F4 but it looked crap close up as smashed etc this one is for this bike and is a one off made specially with the vents etc. It’s the photo that makes it look long
