Hey all, new to this forum.
I've been searching the Internet for suitable clear side tank protectors for my R1 2000 model.
Much appreciated if someone has had this issue before and would be able to point me in the right direction.
Thanks in advance.

I ended up making my own for my 4xv out of clear sheet. It actually looked better than buying generic ones. But if you want the stomp nobbly type i dont know.
I just used normal paper and rubbed the line in it i needed for marking out. Its an old fabricators trick.

The last set I bought was from the states. They didn't make them for the 4xv/5jj but recommended the ones for a Honda model.
I doubt you'll find anything specifically for the 5jj now.

Do you remember which Honda model Duncan ? The set on my 4XV are looking a little tired now, regards Colin.

I didn't remember but found the 5 year-old email.
They were the Techspec Gripster tank pads - not grippy enough for serious riding, but they don't mark your leathers.
