Great Trip Yesterday

Post by joe_bloggs »

Set off yesterday from Barrhead at half 5, to my mates in Johnstone, then through Largs to Western Ferry in Gourock, ferry to Dunoon, then headed to Tighnabruaich, a wee pub meal and then a blast back down the road got back home at 10 to 12, nachered plus covered in about 100 million dead midgies, all in 180 miles or so, roads up that way are brilliant, miles and miles of long straights then some twisties not a car on the road

It cost us £17.20 for ferry (£4.30 each and for bikes) allegedly there is a shop close to the ferry that u can buy tickets and it makes it cheaper as they are discounted but really enjoyed it

Dynotech are getting the finger out and finishing off my performance mods so I'll be able to tag you soon pal.
We used to do dawn raids, meet erskine bridge 5:30am and that was the first and last rule of the run.
Light blue touch paper and watch it go.
If there were any cops out in the heelends at that time they better be prepared for a chaser.

   A chaser lol.....Dynotech serviced my R6 recently, as for the roads around Dunoon hardly a car never mind a police car, only thing that worries me is a 5.30 am start, is that not the middle of the night loool

Looks like an awesome ride. Are tear offs road legal?

Am not sure but we were talking to a taxi driver while fueling bikes, he said use "Rainx" it stops the midgies sticking to yer visor allegedly, havent tried it so cant comment, as for tear off being road legal, am not sure either

The problem you would have is what to do with it once you have torn it off.
You cant drop it cause thats littering and thats illegal.

Tear-offs not legal for road use.

Usually you hit a clump of cleggs just after you've cleaned your visor.
