We can leave on Thursday the 29th of May & do a stop over somewhere in Germany do we arrive in Italy on the 30th and we get to go to qualifying on the 31st may , GP 1st June leave Italy on the 2nd then ride down to nurburgring and stay the night of the 2nd On the 3rd whoever wants to do the track can do then leave on the 4th. That's a rough idea of the plan anyway

I haven't done the costs yet, give me a day or two & I'll let you know roughly the cost. Mileage wise you'll be looking at 2000 from Calais round trip.

PJC & me have promised ourselves both drunkenly & sober that we were going to do this every year since we stopped going to Donnington for the GP in the early 90's..... Hence the (possibly druken?) chat to Chinny & Scrappy on the Haggis Bash that this would be a good trip in 2014

I instantly forgot about it again until at 2pm this afternoon I got a whats app (Whapp) from him with the route already planned......

So this is it then, we're finally doing it!!!

BUT.... Chinny! Its up to the ring not down!!! Like you rode down to Jockoslavia for the bash???? Bloody southerners!

Ok so I've been looking at what this trip will cost and here it is ( Remember these prices can change , these are todays prices )

So based on 5 people going

£58 : Euro Tunnel 29th May 1st train out 6am and returning on the 4th around 8pm
£45.20 : Holiday Inn Express (29th May) , Stuttgart 1 night , 3 rooms, each with 2 single beds , breakfast and WIFI
£135.40 : Best Western Hotel, Gallliano, Florence, for 3 nights from the 30th May. 2 rooms, each with 2 x single beds & 1 double bed , with breakfast and WIFI
£135.40 : Dorint Am Nürburgring Hocheifel, for 2 nights from the 2nd June. 3 rooms with 2 x single beds, with breakfast and WIFI
£90ish for 4 laps of the track.
£464 + fuel +the GP tickets which aren't on sale yet but would roughly be £100

so next step will be do i book it all and everyone transfers the money to me????

If 6 people were to go the cost would be £411.35 + fuel +the GP tickets and spending money on top

Spoke to Phil, we are up for it but will be camping at Mugello, there just aint no way I/we are going to miss one of the best parties on the calendar and to be fair we have always promised ourselves that is how we would do this trip.
Anyone else fancy that
