Hello
Brit living in Switzerland. Waiting for R1M.
Got the 'R1 bug' in 2009. Prior to that GSXR1000's & several KTM EXC. First bike KDX175 @17.
Used to go to a lot of the road races in NI, but difficult to make time these days.
Have read several topics in the forum and enjoyed the banter and information.
Cheers,
/Mark

Welcome in mate. I've heard the Swiss police are not fans of anything fast!

Re: Hello
I think the French police are worse than Swiss. They seem to see it as a money making scheme and a good way to pi$$ off foreigners. The Swiss will put mobile speed traps in sensible places. eg. near schools. The French will put them on a nice piece of straight road, on a sunny day, after a mountain pass which is full of dutch camper vans.
I'm expencting a ban soon. Hopefully I get the bike before and it's not long........
/Mark.
