Hello there,
Thanks to the creator of this great resource I hope spend many ours on here
I am about to buy a 1998 R1, a white and red one.
I see that the front mudguard and tail unit of the red/white 1999 model looks the same as that of the 1998 white/red model and I would like to know if the respective whites and reds are identical colour matches.
Thanks for any tips
David

Welcome in David
not sure about the colour match , i'm sure someone put the colour codes up years ago but no clue where . If you have a good yamaha dealer they will be able to look up the colour codes for you .
Glad you like the forum and hope to be seeing your posts soon

Re: Noob 4XV white/red : red/white Colour Question
Thanks Polar et al.
Sorry to be a pain but can you confirm if you know for sure if the colours are the same or if you simply believe they are. I couldn't really get that from your reply.
I want to purchase parts for one model and put them on another, so could be important before forking out
Many Thanks
David

Have you checked the part numbers online? If they are the same, then you're good to go.R1Noob wrote:Thanks Polar et al.

I know the blue is the same for both years, but don't know about the red.
