To be honest, I think we have all been there, the most important thing though is to recognise that in yourself, it's no use someone else telling you that, so Jon for realising that and now you can work on how to wind your neck in..... Also think...... Your wallet would not be very pleased with you if you got a fineLOCKE wrote:2002r1jon wrote:Rode like a count, need to wind my neck in on the road tbh

+1 on that, i think Jon rides like a cnut too
Jokes aside i'm sure most of us have, i finally got to ride the new "to me" R6 this weekend, took it easy on the way home as the weather was sh!te, came into work this morning and gave it a handful thinking well this isn't the R1 but then if i'm honest i don't think it's a bad think not having so much power, oh and i need to swap it back to road shift before i blow the engine up

Not to worry mate i can flip it around.
More than happy with her mate tell you what though, doesn't the R6 feel really small compared to the R1, much easier to flick about, feels smaller than my 5SL to be honest, feels loads lighter too

Re: Matlock bath sunday?
i think it's because you don't get out on the R1 very often jon so when you get out on it your trying to cram as much adrenaline in as quick as you can , i can be the same at times thats why i ended up with the CU802002r1jon wrote:Rode like a count, need to wind my neck in on the road tbh
