Hi all.
Thanks for letting me join. Always been a big fan of R1`s since owning an 05 plate for many years.
You know that bike you wish you never sold.
So now after various bikes, now with a BMW r1200gs as a 2up tourer for holidays I made some room in the garage for another R1.
Purchased this last September as a weekend play thing. 10 plate with 2300 miles.

Re: Hello
Hi George, liking these bikes you have had, I too had a lava red 5vy back in the day and three Big Bang R1, both amazing bikes..
Jompy bless him .. called them sausages... no he didn’t work for Walls... it’s because of the Big Bang engine... they get called bangers... hence sausage.... yeah it’s complicated... and so is jompy... but you will get to know that.
Anyway... welcome to the mad house
