Re: Meets in the Midlands
Well theres jompys bbq in derby usually once a year & theres a few of us in the midlands, hell after the lockdown eases a bit more we could maybe arrange a mini meet somewhere, jompy that would mean getting the half-one out the garageR1mattyn231 wrote:Just a quick one, is there or are there any R1 meet ups in the Midlands, if so please share.

Re: Meets in the Midlands
No not anymore, Johns isnt too bad at craven arms (the station). But i usually stop at the Mammoth Centre at craven arms, its go clean toilets and you can park the bike right outside. You only get walkers there and visitors to the centre.R1mattyn231 wrote: ↑Thu May 28, 2020 4:47 pm Same here, do you use the cafe at Quatt or Craven arms at all?
I usually stop at the bp station just outside Leominster for fuel.
Could meet up one day at the Mammoth centre or Johns? I can be a bit unreliable due to my health so i can only ride when i feel like i can and i never know until half hour before i set off. My sh!te health makes me worse than a woman for timing

Re: Meets in the Midlands
I know this is an old thread but I’m West Midlands also (Sedgley)
I often go to quatt, bewdley, ironbridge and once we have better weather I’ll be heading up around wales and other places
