Sunny days
Got a week off work and seeing as the weather was nice it would have been rude not to go out on the bike.
Left home and headed north along the side of Loch Lomond and straight through Crianlarich, Tyndrum on to Glencoe for a stop and stretch of the legs.
Quick fuel up and off round to Oban then back into Inverary for another stop then home via Arrochar. 250 miles.
Excellent day, hope the rest of the week is the same.

Re: Sunny days
Every morning, the sun is streaming in the windows, and I think "Could have a wee jaunt up to Tyndrum and Inveraray" ................ By the time I get a coffee down my neck - the sky is overcast and the weather forecast says "RAIN"
Hopefully get out in the next few days..............
Any traffic plod around?

This is the new method Joe.
Reduce the speed limit then sit there catching folk out.
Same in all the surrounding villages, Houston, Brig o Weir, Kilbarchan, Linwood etc
My mate works in Houston post office and told me he has been taking in speeding fines galore.
Suck, Squeeze, Bang & Blow.

Re: Sunny days
Licence to print money with the feckers now, I was told when I used to be frequently up the west coast on standby to slow down at all the wee villiages on the way up or down as they sit and try and catch u out, coming back from Lochgilphead into Inveraray had a guy flash his lights heading towards me, I was at 30 anyway but all that could be seen was a yellow arm with a copper hiding behind a wall stcking his arm out trying to catch people....Scrapman wrote:joe_bloggs wrote:Paisley seems busy with them, just seen a woman pass me doing over 40 at bottom of Dykebar Road with the usual trap at the school/bus stop, the old white Merc with private plate and ohh am sorry officer wont happen again didnt work as she was escorted out the car as we passed, sore one

Re: Sunny days
It is illegal for them to hide. They must be in plain view but they don't .
That's where all the crafty nonsense comes in, sitting round bends, under bridges , behind bushes etc.
the law is different down south I think.

Re: Sunny days
I thought it was Illegal as well but generally they are in view, they will no doubt target the west coast over a period of time over the next wee while, just need to keep the wits about us lol
