The old crew had a meet there about 3 years ago............
15 mins round the place then spent a fekin fortune on beer $4 a pint  we have been better going to a wee boozer and looking at bikes on an ipad ;)

Unfortunately this year it falls on the Fife All Twats Eve weekend. It is a night when our locals build a 19' man out of Tupperware, set fire to it and tut as it fall to the ground. then we find 3 Methil virgins and burn their giros by moonlight. It's only then the festivities really start and a packet of scampi flavored fries are shared around the villagers. I normally dance naked around a Vauxhall Corsa.......... Nothing to do with the celibration but its better than going to the Scottish bike Show.......
Nae doubt see you there

Ps Yes John ya Buffy I've been drinking again. :shhh:

Its utter sh!te. We had a long weekend last year, down on the Friday to see some pandas, then a trip to Ikea on the Sat and the show on the Sun, spent 1 hour in the place and headed home to Aberdeen. It's now wall to wall cheap motorcycle clothing sold by people who have never even ridden a bike in their life. After being down to the last 2 nec shows its makes the Scottish one look like a cattle market.

I vowed years ago that I would never go back as its bollocks.
The only thing that was ever good about the Scottish show was the stunt show they used to have and since that stopped its not worth going.
As Coullio said its full of people trying to sell cheap sh!t leathers at near full price, no real bargains to be had anymore.
Spend the day going round your local bike dealers and see almost the same stuff.
I know a lot of people say that if people dont support it it will disappear, but personally I dont think it would be missed.

Yip and I bet if you had a off this sh!te they will disintegrate!! I have vision me out riding with said garments and watching the stitching rip apart. I noticed a few cheapo chat stalls at the Nec but they seemed to be stuck in the corner. They have a law for crash helmet well it should be the same for leather, textiles, boots & gloves. These clowns would use any old sh!te.

I went down in 2010 and spent most of my time in the bar. I missed 2011 but went back in 2012 and then I decided to save my money for NEC. It will die a slow death unless it improves.

Deffinately will mate I went to London show last year and spent most day there was round the show yesterday in about 1 1/2 hrs watched the wall of death then home some of the stalls are just there to fill space glorified boot sale that's all it is now apart from the odd decent retailer

Down at the NEC its all bike related, no pointless stalls selling stuff you never need. Ok you still have the cheapo chat stalls but you have the stalls selling the stuff you want. I was down again last year and spend 2 days there Sat & Sun and I must have walked round 100 times. I might go back down to the NEC this year as I will be looking for a new pair of boots for next season, unless I buy a pair before that. They either need to make it better or just stop it.
