Afternoon all
Was a member on here for about 5 years when I had my 4C8, went over to Suzuki in 2017 and bought a brand spanking new GSXR1000R, bloody loved that bike, unfortunately the highways agency don't like signposting around my way when they decide to resurface the road just before a tight right hand bend Needless to say it didn't end well. I spent 4 days asleep in hospital (which wasn't through choice) and a completely destroyed bike.
Anyhow, didn't think I'd get back on a bike again but I borrowed my mates old zzr600 a month ago and realised how much I missed it.
Didn't want to go down the route of computers on wheels again, traction control did me no bloody good on my last bike so I picked up a totally standard 5EB R6 2 weeks ago, 13k miles, red, black and white. In the middle of strip down and rebuild atm.
So thought I'd say hello again, always thought the forum was brilliant and Mike's flashtune is still the dogs bollocks!

Welcome back Tommo. You'll have loads of enjoyment on that R6. Whereabouts are you based ?
You don't stop riding bikes because you're old -you get old because you stop riding bikes.

Hi Tommo and welcome back,
Sounds like a nasty accident mate, glad you got though it okay. I had a big one a few years ago and i thought the same but within a few months i was back out on a bike and loving it, you either love bikes or you dont.
R6 is a good choice of bike mate, i wish you many happy miles.

Welcome back, shame about the accident and I'm sure you are gutted to lose the GSXR but at least you are ok
Some nice roads around Yeovil, I'm in Exeter so have probs ridden a few of the same ones you used too (the coast roads to Weymouth mainly) great on a sunny day

Welcome not so newbie.
Always liked the 5EB R6, especially in the red white and black colour scheme.
