Re: Newbie
Thanks for the replies.
Moved to Cornwall at the end of 1999 with parents and got a job where I met a biker that introduced me to bikes, got my own in 2003 and it's one of the best things I have ever done. I was 24 then and now 40, my history of bikes is mostly sports bikes as I just love the look of them and how they accelerate like feck...
1st bike was and old CB125 then it goes something like this:
GSXF600 H-reg
ZX6R G2
Hornet 600
GSXR750 SRAD
Bandit 600
ZX9R C1
CBR600F
Fireblade 918
Thunderace
YZF R1 4XV
Bought a place with my wife in 2010 and a few years ago extended the garage into a double so loads of bike space. I do 95% of my own servicing and repairs and have loads of kit to do most jobs. Want to help out other bikers so let me know if you are also in Cornwall.
Will try to get some pictures, Cheers, Bri

Re: Newbie
Where about a in Cornwall Bri? My parents used to live in Pool and I was regularly down there on my bike. Sadly they are both buried in Trevenson church near the Pool Academy.
You have some fantastic biking roads down there, I love the run from Portreath to Hayle and St Ives to St Just

Welome to the forum Bri, good bunch of lads here
Some good roads on the Lizard too.
And the A30 from Penzance west..
We go to Porthtowan at least twice a year and I always take a bike down.
Some of my favourites there Steve!Steve R1 wrote:

Re: Newbie
I am quite central in Cornwall 15-30mins from most main towns. Been on most of those roads but not as much as I want with being busy at work but hopefully more when the weather gets better.
Get to 45 and have my mortgage paid off then maybe not work as much and have more time for riding.

I think Beach-tone lives in Redruth? He has a R1M.
John, yes the Lizard too and the A30 from Penzance . Have done the coast road from Bude to Lands End on the bike, that was a nice run
