morning, new to the forum as Ive got two track bikes needing rebuilding. Both 2002, the R6 is a pure track bike, no frame number, Maxton front and rear, the R1 is un registered but Ive checked and has the possibility that might be able to regain.
Both are in pieces being checked through as the tanks are rusty.

will be back with questions later :hand:

oh, the Avon town in the subject line... thats Melksham, Wilts. unfortunately the factory (Cooper/Avon/Bridgestone) is closing down . putting a stop to our supply of tested only cheap tyres

Hello, I was wondering if you could help me? I need to know if the newer tail section from the R6 (double round lights) will fit onto my 2000 YZF600.
I would be very grateful if someone could answer this as I am not getting a reply from anyone. Thanks

Unless the part numbers are the same (3 digit model code and the first number), it's unlikely.

Do they have the same frame?

no it wont fit but yes it could.
Ive got a 5eb 2000 and the 5sl 2003 wont fit.
unless you have welding abilities.

youngest has fitted a gsxr600 rear sub frame to his 600 bandit, takes a lot of drawing, metal work, cutting, welding, then finishing and rewiring and fixing of lights and indicators
