Re: Newbie In Telford
Easy to tell if you're bike has a cat or notPetroladdict wrote: I don't know if my bike has a cat or not
This is a pipe without the cat
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/YAMAHA-YZFR1- ... 3cd23ef1e8" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
This is the standard exhaust with the cat
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/07-08-YAMAHA- ... 5d3bc18f8c" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
You'll get the odd one now and again where the owner has stripped the OEM pipe and removed the cat but you should be able to tell by the welding around it.

Re: Newbie In Telford
Cheers for the welcome lads what a friendly bunch you are ! Oi oi other R1 Telford bloke, a rideout sometime has got to be on the cards ? Fancy a blast up to the Raven thursday evening ?
Right that exhaust clamp, yep found the part number asked at local yam dealer non in stock but could get me one for just £22 Yeah right, I've ordered a stainless steel one for a fraction of the cost that will last a whole lot longer . Yep my bike is catted so that's something to do another time.
thanks for the comments on the bike much appreciated, i'll get some more up as I start doing little mods.
