How to post from Youtube

Post by 2002r1jon »

Click on the "Youtube" tab at the top of the post

On youtube you need to click onthe "share" tab,and copy the highlighted text
It will look similar to this http://youtu.be/FYv2n-hRsa0

Then come back here and paste the last bit( http://youtu.be/FYv2n-hRsa0 ) inbetween the

Like this

Just dont use the different colouring as i have, its only to highlight what to do,and not to be used at other times :D

(Notice the tune ive chosen :D )

Hope this helps ;)

just to re-iterate with an explain video whicih has the URL of http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=pl ... hKybNL_Fv0 or it could be http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lhKybNL_Fv0&feature=plcp the bit after the v= is what you are looking for, lhKybNL_Fv0

So you just paste that number lhKybNL_Fv0 highlight it then click the youtube button in the full editor, this will put the [ youtube ] [ /youtube ] either side of the code and it should work.

well sorta, but I still spent last night changing everyone's direct links to youtube to above, thought it might be because there seems to be two kinds of youtube links, and thats why I mention both.
