Yes it's a 5vy but registered in 07 on the log book.

Thoughts of the R1 so far.
More upright riding position than the duc and more sitting on top of the front wheel.
Bloody hell mirrors, I can see what's behind me, still keep looking over my shoulder though.
Engine is bloody good turbine like power were the duc was raw power.
Exhaust note...duc wins ...

In the process of getting a 01 R1 next week so thought I come along and see what all the fuss is about. Currently own a ducati 749, great bike just fancy a change. previous bikes as follows.
Rizla Moto gp gsx1000, Zx10 04 model, Z1000, cbr1000rr, hayabusa, zx6, zzz 600, Honda cb750, Suzuki ...
