I am sorry i am an old bloke and a bit shy and never done this before, have brought the bike as a bit of fun do have other bikes the r1 is a bit tatty so I don't want to show it as yet so I thought I jump into the deep end with a queston my applogies to every one

I am new to this
Can anybody help me. I have got a 1999 R1 which has been stored for a few years got it running ok but the tacho keeps going from 0 to eather 84 or 85 I can't descide which yet, it does this every few secounds I take this to be a fault code, can anybody tell me what it is and ...
