It was a 55 plate k5 mate. My first proper sports bike, or thats what I thought until I got the R1

I'll get some bulbs on flea bay today and report back.

Been riding since childhood, but only recently on the road (call it a bit of a mid life crisis). Last bike was a gixxer 600 which I had for a couple of years but managed to persuade the missus I needed an R1. Loving every minute of ...

I know stuff all about electrics too. Hopefully different bulbs will solve it.
