Right lads; excuse me if this has already been covered, but has anyone had an original seat pad re-foamed, gelled etc? I've had my 03 bike from new an…login to view the rest of this post

Re: What IS The Main Ingredient of WD-40?

After I've washed/cleaned my bike, I spray some onto a rag and do the wheels. They don't half shine and I think they're easier to clean next time.

Re: 5pw owner near dundee

Hiya Allan;
Great intro! I also have an 03 5pw (which I've owned since new) with a very similar pipe. In fact, I haven't seen anybody else with one, until today. I've had it fitted for about seven years and haven't re-packed the baffle as yet. It is loud, that goes without saying. I might have ...

Re: What`ve you done to your bike today?

I bought a PC V recently and have had it dyno'd today. I'm surprised at how much difference it's made. Coupled with the fact that I'd obviously got us…login to view the rest of this post

Re: Hello to everyone.

Pod, you said you'd like to see a picture of the exhaust, what do you think?

2002r1jon, similar to what you had? It is loud but the sound makes you want to cane it more and more!!!

When I bought it, they recommend the baffle be re-wrapped each year but I haven't bothered.

Hello to everyone.

Howdo;
I've owned an R1 since 2000 when I bought one new. I bought an '03 new and still have it. I'm toying with the idea of having the fork internals replaced and buying a new shock from Maxton. Seems a far more cost effective idea than buying a new bike(according to the wife!). My current mods are ...
