with regards 2010 14b, like steve(cilla) said try a few out as they do tend to differ. i had a 2010 and it was just perfect with the forks working well and a great engine, after it was stolen i had a new 2013 and it also felt good. Sadly that was also taken from me ...

Welcome to the forum mate, loads if peeps on here will have advice for you regarding R1's, that's one hell of a monthly commute, mine upto a few months ago was 360 miles a week, so a tad more than your commute about 1,400 miles a month, and the R1 performed beautifully. I ride all year ...
