Thanks for the warm welcome and extra advice, have the plugs and coils out, looks to be corrosion at the tip of the spark plug and coil connection.
Hopefully this will be problem solved. :pray: Will update in the week

yep i know thunderroad and JT's, pretty decent cafe at thunderroad too

cheers guys, wasn't expecting such speedy replies :) will try new plugs first as i know these have done some miles, and check all breathers then go from there.
the bike is standard apart from motobatt battery changed yesterday, misfire only started last weekend after charging up an almost flat ...
