managed to post two more pics of the on the road version , mines got renthals and cnc top yolk its the dogs mate i love it,

chrz jompy will give the 4xv section a good read over spose every bike has its ins and outs regarding specific problems , i will find them out as they occur.

barnett clutch plate coversion

hi dudes n dudets i have fitted a barnett six spring conversion to my 99 r1 but the clutch bites to close to the bars , i have been told that
a tdm lever being 10mm longer fixes this problem does anyone know the best year to go for as the newer ones have a bent lever compared to the straight lever ...

The extra inline resistors worker a treat all is now good
Thank fook it was gtn on ma tips
Now for the carb clean out and were good t go

Switch gear made no difference when I plug two standard trafficators in it works fine so extra inline resistors are ordered an getting tried out today will post results later on this marathon job

Yeh changed it for an led one, I have just received a new set off switch gear from eBay today so with a bit of luck that will sort the problem
Thanks to all that responded even the smart ar*** you've got t have a laugh to or life would be far to serious

yeh got a led relay fitted the flashing gloves were gash llf, :dance:
have bought new switch gear hopin that cures it.

Yup batt sound and the lights were off, it's bin suggested the switch gear my be passing current that wouldn't normally effect bulbed flashers!
Off to have another go at it thanks for the help so far dudes mucho gracias

newbie in need of advice

hi just joined today thanks for the welcome,all new to forums so forgive me if i dont get it right first time peeps.
i have just fitted led flashers to my 99 r1 with the appropriate relay, BUT they seem to be flashing all at once !!
the side the switch is allocated to is brighter than the other side ...
