Quick post about the ride home, was a nippy ride up on the back of a fireblade and when we arrived the road he lived on was sheet ice and snow! :shock: to top it off he lived down an embankment which meant one riding, one pushing and one pulling to get it to the road :lol: within 10 yards to park it ...

Welcome in Phil. That's a mint R1 you have there, don't listen to monkey face aka Jompy as he would have the fairings off as well as the stickers, his view is that if it's no use then it's not on the bike, the exception to his rule is himself of course.

Yes CBR600 was the first bike, 4500 miles and feel ready for something more, I have alot of road sense and knowledge and know my limits, im not some kamikaze cowboy.

Dont worry all the stickers will be coming off back to the original paintwork, also will be replacing the tank protector as is currently a picture of a naked woman :D as per tinkering on the bike, I make get the carbs balanced/checked and dyno'd to see what its running, good usual service of oil and ...

New R1 owner here from North Yorkhire and will be picking up my first R1 early next week, 2000 model and in near showroom condition as can get :D
