I don't think it would. I think all the weight of the impact pushed the water pump into the casing.

The difference between this and the 600 is huge in terms of performance, but normal riding its so easy to move around. Then twist the throttle and you leave everything standing.
Tail tidy is in hand, also I can't stand the OEM leavers so they're changing too.
