Re: Newbie with battery question

Battery ordered at 1530 on Thursday and delivered and in bike at 1230 on Friday.

Excellent service from http://www.mdsbattery.co.uk" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

And it was £30 cheaper than local dealer.

Great stuff!!

Re: Newbie with battery question

Many thanks to all.

Battery now on its way from mdsbattery.co.uk for £45 including delivery. Local dealer wanted £75.

Love the R1 which I bought a couple of months ago. Almost standard (how I like them) in blue. It may be seventeen years old but you certainly wouldn't know it - a brilliant bike ...

Newbie with battery question

Hi All

Not long purchased a rather nice 99 R1 but sadly the battery has given up the ghost.

To save me lengthy searches what is the battery of choice for me?

All replies gratefully received.

Cheers
