Which R1 were you told was docile till 7-8000 rpm ? Because I'm sure the new ones are meant to be pretty nippy ohh and as for noise most cans put them over 105db but you can check all this in the R1 section

I've read that the new R1 2015 onwards is a bit peaky compared to ...
