Another update,

It arrived this morning :D , pic is after it was just wheeled into the garage, it now has the Akraprovic end can fitted. I will wait until next year before fitting the link pipe and removing the cat. I need to investigate the tuning/re-flashing options.

Hopefully it will be dry ...

I had the 2012 r1 before this one and it had akro's on 2" front to back sounded awesome.

Yeah,silencer length is the only way.
If you want open pipe your looking at 18" silencer.

Update - Low miles 2017 ex-demo bought today :D Will be delivered Tuesday.

Managed to purchase some noise adjusting devices, picking up tomorrow.

There will be lots of questions and advise needed soon, re-maps, suspension etc etc etc :D

I know it's the wrong time of year to purchase, but it will ...

adding a post so I can get up to 20 & buy/sell parts.
Just bought my first road R1, 2017 blue, previously owned 2000 track/race bike (going back to 2002-2006!). Its fair to say things have moved on a bit, wish I had slide control on the old one would have saved me some pain :D .
