Yes you will be ok, bike is easy to ride, I was raising the rear end at Castle coome,, lots of chicanes at the end of straights, and while racing you leave braking as late as possible,,,,sometines too late ,lol

The 5VY is awsome to race, already had ohlins rear and ohlins steering damper with my upgraded forks it rides so smooth and feels safe even on braking with the rear 2 feet in the air

I have had the bad starter issues too, I have tried all ,even ordered a 14 year old starter that never turned up..thank god, got a refund..
