Welcome in lee - members like to hear a bit about newbies biking history & lots of us like piccys - so late carb'd R1 or early fuel injected R1?? - enjoy the forum mate and don't forget ur sense of humour

thanks for the welcome id be looking for the fuel injected model and biking history is quite sparse only passed test in April so had my 600 for the season and now looking for something a bit different i love the gsxr but always liked the R1

Hi Lee and welcome to the forum. Good luck with the search for your R1, don't buy the first you see, have a good look around and see if you can test ride them. The guys on here will be able to tell you what to look out for.
As you have probably guessed, you need a sense of humour on here, peeps are great, they help and support one and other and we do take the p!ss out of each other, but that's only cos we know one and other...
This is the best biking forum I have ever been a member of and its the peeps on here, and dare I say it rather quietly...... The admin guys ..... Who generally leave us to our own devices.
Any questions you may have someone will know the answer, oh and there are no stupid questions, as they have been asked already by either monkey face, colon or Cilla .....
