Hello. Quickshifter for sale

Post by Liamr110688 »

Hi All,

Hope your all ok.

Just got my R1 14B. I had the 5VY previously so any advice would be great.

I'm after some bits for the track.

Quickshifter
Exhausts
Rearsets

Let me know?

Welcome to the forum Liam

Forum etiquette usually dictates that new members post a hello post in the newbie section, generally they will tell us a bit about their biking history and possibly, if we are lucky, post some pics of their bike. This enables new members to get to know us and for us to get to know you.

Congratulations on the purchase if your 14b, some people love them, others don't, they are a bit like marmite. I'm on my third, so I guess I love them. The throttle can be very snatchy, but a flash tune or a PCV with custom map calms it down. I did see some ackrapovics for sale on here, so have a look in the parts for sale section.

Also any questions just ask, we are a friendly bunch and the guys are very knowledgeable too.

Enjoy the sausage..... Sorry I must explain, 14b = Big Bang = banger = sausage .... Yeah we do have a strange sense of humour as well.

Anyway welcome

Stephen :)

Welcome in mate. Nice choice of bike. The 14B has the best soundtrack which outweighs the snatchy clutch, twitchy throttle, extreme thirst etc etc...... ;)

Do you ride yours on the road Colin.

Are we talking standard throttles are Snatchy?

I've been looking at quick action throttle.
