Hi guys. Been stalking the forum for a month now. Thought I'd say hi.
I bought a 5vy that's needs some love and it's going to be a good project.
I'll keep you all updated

If you've been here for a month then you'll know that that was a piss poor first post & you'll also have a handle on the sense of humour of the place ;)

It's tatty.
I was going to keep the original paint but, I've decided against that now.

Ash have a look around the forum a few of the guys have had Amazing results with certain Chinese fairings for around £400

Jompy. That's exactly what I've done. I've gone for Chinese abs. The seem to have made the colour nice enough. I'll take delivery this week. Just need to get my brake lines and discs sorted. I'm going to be a bit gay and get super blue fluid while I still can

Well blue fluid is pretty cool. I'm not sure if I should get rid of the front reservoir for hrc or not.
