Jesus no way would I trust that. My info just relates to titanium bolts in general not bike disc bolts but no way would I be going 30% less. That makes it 12Nm almost finger right

The 6 pots are designed so 310mm disks could be used on the 4c8, fitting larger disks will ruin one of the advantages that Yamaha designed into the bike. But its your bike and your choice

Benji-still wrote:Surely it will be better braking with the slightly bigger floating discs I'll be Upgrading the master cylinder in the summer as well
That's not the point of the 6 pots and 310mm disks, its all to do with the way the bike turns with the weight focused more towards the hub rather than the rim.

Smaller diameter rotors = less rotating mass = quicker turn in and less force required on the bars to turn. Must be along them lines will that extra 10mm effect it that much this is only a road bike not track

Not saying that at all, improving the brakes is a good thing (Mater cylinder, lines pads and even upgraded 310 rotas), but you won't get all of the advantages the BST's offer with larger diameter disks. I am sure it will be just fine, I am really carrying on from what Stug asked

No it's fine the 320mm have there advantages over the 310 I'm sure I won't even notice much difference lol be like learning to ride a different bike once I get back on it with all this new stuff going on anyway lol
Sorry, didnt mean to cause an argument.
I saw that you had carbon wheels and thought that maybe you had forgotten to remove the spacers which would mean your pads would be hanging off the edge of the disk.
