Hi all,

This seems like a pretty friendly and knowledgeable place so thought I'd stop lurking and join up.
I'm based in Berks and have just bought my first Yamaha! 2013 R1 it's a got a few nice extras and a few more will turn up soon I'm sure.

Previous bikes include a Ducati Panigale 1199s and K5 GSXR 1000 both had a fortune spent on them so this one will be no different.

Remap and quickshifter are first on the list!

Welcome in Matt, pics please and of all your bikes. Different direction from the slim Pani and awesome K5. You will be spending some money to get the 14 to work as well as the others but it will be worth it in the long run

Hello Matt and welcome. The Yam is a beauty, that's a nice blue. Have to say the Ducati is a beauty too. The Yam will be a bit more comfortable.....but only a bit :lol: .

Thanks mate, the panigale once I'd changed the seat was actually one of the comfiest bikes I've ridden. I miss the noise and the looks but the R1 sounds pretty awesome and is a better road bike

Welcome to the forum Matt, you have had some beautiful bikes :clap: :clap: must admit I loved the sound of my Big Bang R1's, and I do miss that sound nowadays, the new R1's sound isn't a patch on the banger, well in my view that is,
