Newb From Norway
Newb from Norway checking in.
Getting back on a bike, been a couple of year since I had a bike.
(My Home burned to the ground, as well as my Ducati 853R( with RS cams) with a put a sh!t load of money and energy into, built a new house on the same grounds, and moved in in November)
Just got my 2016 R1M a few weeks ago, the dealer was able to get a few but on customer order only, this one was probably was going to France as a low effect bike... But we got if full effect
Will be used for road, and trackdays. Looking forward a lower maintainace bike......................
Adaptations so far :
1. RaceSeat from raceseat Italy (a must, used to 1 cm of neoprene, and the R1M seat was far to Comfortable)
2. Akrapovic Slipon, (No hassle with noise regulations)
3. GB racing Engine covers and frame sliders, bobbins.
4. New rear spring 110.00 N/mm (Not fitted yet as the dealer, did not have a spring compressor(WTF but as expected), But we have a ex Alphatechnik Engine bulder with all the ohlins tools near by)
5. Brembo SC pads for the front on the way from the UK, Do not like the feel of the Oem stuff.
6. Rethal Grips (old habitt)
7. Tidy tail from R&G
8. Ohlins SD043 damper
this winter : (the bike season is not that long i Norway)
- 11n/mm front springs
- The Øhlins kit for the fork and shock.(AS long as the forks are going off any way)
- Probably Brembo master cylinder,
-Track faring
- rear sets
Will not do any flashing of the ECU, we get 5 year warranty on the Bike here in Norway and want to keep that.
Cant buy all at once, the Bike prices are a "little Higher" here in Norway the R1M is about 24500 Pounds.(the 60th was about 21500)

Welcome aboard, nice job on the M so far. So you went for the flash in the end then, it looks like you have all the gear for every job!
France no longer has the 100hp limit on bikes since around the middle of last year, they now have full power bikes.
