Hi all, new to R1’s and Yamaha’s have bought a 03 5pw and so far I love it !! It’s a ballistic missile
I’m after some genuine bar ends as I can’t stand unweighted ally ones.
Any advice on where to get some from or a good matched alternative?

a mate had a generator burn out on his r1... he got it re-wound by Westcountry Windings in harlow
(another option is wemoto for a replacement winding ... or retifier.. depending what is wrong)

Genuine ones from Fowler’s via their online parts fische

Welcome to the forum Yanie and Jason .

As Jompy said, aka Monkey face, known for is love of tea, tell us a bit about your biking history so we can get to know you. This is a fantastic forum with a real community spirit and ethos. We also do like a giggle too, it’s our somewhat strange sense of humour, but it helps us get through the days.

Hope you get your bike issues sorted.

Jason , it might be worth you starting your own newbie thread

Oh and yes, we are all nosey guys n gals, plus one primate [emoji204] on here.

This is jompy on his last track day
