Hello From Birmingham

Post by chriskibbledj »

Hi guys, a member on many forums, as i swap and change my bikes alot, lol so a few may already know the username...

Just though i would say hello, Names Chris, 24 from Birmingham and just picked up a very tidy 09 R1 14B, Bike is lovely and so addicted to the noise with the akras fitted.

I am going to ask peoples views on the ECU flash and have any had it done?

All the best

Chris

Welcome in, get some pics up we love them 8-)

Lots of info on here, the site owner Miker1 is the the Flashtune man for Europe and beyond, he is a good bloke and will help. I dont think you will get many guys who say the 14b is worse with flashtune, some may say it needs dyno time some say not.

There are a good few threads on here about it, look in the Velox section or do a flashtune search

enjoy

Welcome in!

I've had the Flashtune and would personally recommend it. Reduced engine braking, smoother less choppy throttle and a decent base map are all worth the wonga 8-)
