Howdy'all
Howdy'all
Evening all,
Cannae believe I've taken this long to locate this forum and sign up!
I'm a Yamaha disciple, usually of the 2 stroke persuasion (1982 350LC, FII YPVS 350 & RXS100) but lately I have found myself strongly drawn towards R1's, very strongly indeed. Must be getting sensible lusting after a 4 stroke eh???!
I don't know anybody that owns an R1 I could pester for info and advice so it was inevitable I would find myself here.
I hope to buy either a late carb'd 2001 or early injected 2002 model so please accept my apologies now for all the daft questions I'll inevitably ask regarding those models!
Thanks for having me,
Col.

Re: Howdy'all
Pardon my tardy replies, my internet access is far from regular. Perhaps a higher fibre diet for the Amstrad is in order, who knows???
Thanks for the welcome fellas, s'a nicer reception than I get at home usually!
With regards to my ethnicity, I regret to say I'm not from Scotland (although biologically, part of me is Scottish...true story) I hail from the sunshine state of East Anglia.
Could be worse. That is an assumption btw.
Alas, all I have of my RD's are memories and a handful of "crayola resolution" photos that'd require more airbrushing than Cher to look tidy. Even sadder news, can't seem to find any photographs of my RXS....lest we forget.
With any joy I'll locate myself a gem of a 5pw to photograph and bore y'all with soon!
T.T.F.N,
Col.
