Hi, I have a cross plane R1. I brought it cause I couldn't find the blade I was looking for! Despite that I have enjoyed riding it. My last bikes as I recall were a 1098, Gsxr1000 K6 and a K2, TL1000s(very bad), Mille(very good), Original R1 and a 97 Blade. A couple of my mates have just bought RSV4s' and are tempting me in that direction but I thought I'd check out the forum to see if I can improve the R1 - suspension engine etc before changing again.

Glad your not giving up on the R1 yet , if you haven't already got it remapped i guess thats a good place to start , r1Mike can do flash tuned Ecu's through the post ( see velox racing section ) & theres plenty of the 14b owners that have messed around with the suzzies so pop along to the 14b section

Welcome in m8, lots to improve on the 14b, I am sure we can help. Ridden the RSV4, not great if the roads are bumpy, epic on fast sweepers
