Hi everyone
Hi everyone
Hi I've recently joined up as considering a crossplain as my next bike so having a look to see what the best mods are .
I currently have an s1000rr for the road which has seen a couple of trackdays and an sv650 which is iust coming to the end of a supertwin build so will be my dedicated track bike.
Oh and not forgetting the Honda zoomer which I've had for 18 months and never ridden lol.

Re: Hi everyone
Thanks for the welcome, I've had the s1000rr for 3 years in april so will look to change then.
The BMW had a few niggles early on re gearbox, rotting sump and faulty switch gear but having got over that its been a great bike just time for a change.

That all sounds very familiar

Have you had a test ride of the R1? if not i think you'll be surprised with how good it feels to ride. Don't get me wrong the S1K was ballistic in a straight line but other than that it was nothing special.
Have a read of my thread when you get a chance

Re: Hi everyone
Well I haven't ridden an s1000 but in all honesty when I bought the R1 I did wonder what I had done at slow speed it was a pig especially around islands slipping the clutch was the order of the day. That all changed when I had it flash tuned, don't ask me why that question can be answered by r1 Mike better than me also put a de cat pipe on it.All the tea in china wouldn't get me to swap it now,a legendary bike that requires a few mods to get the best out of it.Shove all the rider aids where the sun don't shine they make you lazy rather ride a bike with real character.

make the most of today because tomorrow is promised to no one.
